Japan makes substantial voluntary contribution to the Register of Damage for Ukraine

The Government of Japan has made a significant voluntary contribution in the amount of €735,000 to the Register of Damage for Ukraine for 2024.

Japan is a founding Associate Member of the Enlarged Partial Agreement establishing the Register.

Ambassador Uchida Hiroyuki, Permanent Observer of Japan to the Council of Europe, met with RD4U Executive Director, Markiyan Kliuchkovskyi, on this occasion.

Mr Kliuchkovskyi expressed his gratitude to the Government of Japan for the significant contribution to the Register, for Japan’s solidarity and unwavering support for Ukraine and for its determination to fully defend the international order based on the rule of law.
