Australia Joins the Register of Damage for Ukraine

The Register of Damage for Ukraine is pleased to announce that Australia has joined the Register as an Associate Member.

Australia’s decision to become part of this important international initiative reflects its continued support for Ukraine and the rules-based international order. As an Associate Member, Australia will contribute to the ongoing work of the Register, which serves as the first component of a future international compensation mechanism to address the consequences of the Russian Federation’s internationally wrongful acts in or against Ukraine.

Australia becomes the 45th member of the Register, alongside 43 other States and the European Union. The Register warmly welcomes Australia’s engagement and looks forward to its active participation in this collective effort.
