The Register of Damage for Ukraine (RD4U) is pleased to announce a significant advancement in the claim submission process. As of now, claimants seeking to submit claims for damage or destruction of residential immovable property can avail themselves of the option to submit claims via the Diia web portal, available at www.diia.gov.ua/services/RD4U.
Until today, claim submission to the Register was only possible via the Diia mobile application. The launch of the claims submission service on the Diia web portal marks a significant step forward in improving the ease and accessibility of the process. Claimants can now file their claims by simply accessing the web portal from any internet-connected device – a computer, tablet or mobile phone - without the need to download the Diia application onto their mobile devices.
For claimants who would like to submit multiple files with evidence – such as photos of destruction of their property, using the Diia web portal may be more convenient.
RD4U is constantly working on upgrades and additions to the system of submission of claims. For now, claimants can submit their claims in category A3.1 – damage or destruction of residential immovable property. In a few weeks this possibility will open to all owners of housing in Ukraine, whose property was damaged, regardless of the location of the property, and regardless of whether an application to Ukraine’s eRecovery service was made. Many more categories of claims for damage caused by the war in Ukraine to open in the coming months.
